10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Atlanta History and Food Tour; includes 8 tastings at 3 restaurants, a passionate local guide, transportation and gratuities. See below for details and restrictions.

  • 10:30 a.m.: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the venue at the start of the tour in the Grant Park neighborhood, one of Atlanta’s oldest areas.
  • 11 a.m.: Set off on foot to discover the city’s incredible food scene.
  • Enjoy 8 modern and Southern fusion tastings at 3 local food stops — Six Feet Under Pub & Fish House, Firepit Pizza Tavern and The Little Tart Bakeshop — and walking through historic Oakland Cemetery.
  • Along the way, your expert guide will entertain you with fascinating stories of Atlanta’s past, tying together the culinary, historical and cultural journeys of this amazing city.
  • 1:30 p.m.: Return transfer to the hotel.

  • 1:30 p.m.: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to the venue at the start of the tour.
  • 2 p.m.: Set off on foot to explore iconic locations and landmarks associated with Dr. King and other civil rights leaders.
  • As you walk, you’ll visit Dr. King’s Birth Home (exterior view only), the elementary school he attended and Ebenezer Baptist Church (exterior view only) — you’ll also have a chance to marvel at the view from Jackson Street Bridge.
  • At The King Center, see the tomb of Dr. and Mrs. King as well as memorials, art and relics.
  • Other stops along the way include Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Dobbs Plaza, dedicated to civic leader John Wesley Dobbs and the beauty salon of businesswoman and philanthropist, Madam CJ Walker.
  • 5 p.m.: Return transfer to the hotel.

Travel is unpredictable and country restrictions due to COVID-19 change regularly; please understand that the policies below apply and you are encouraged to purchase travel protection.

Cancellation Policy*: If you cancel 76 days or more before the start date of your trip, you will get a refund less a fee of up to US$100. If you cancel within 75 days of the start date of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are applicable on a per-person basis.

*This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. In the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the more restrictive of the two terms will prevail.
